By Cajun Mawmaw
I HAVE RAISED CANARIES FOR YEARS NOW. THE QUIKO SPECIAL RED CANARY SUPPLEMENT IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCT. ALL OF MY RED FACTOR CANARIES JUST LOVE IT AND THE FOOD KEEPS THEIR FEATHERS SO BRIGHT AND COLORFUL.
I WOULD NEVER THINK OF USING ANOTHER PRODUCT. EVEN MY YELLOW CANARIES SEEM TO LOVE IT TOO. I HOPE I CAN PURCHASE PRODUCT FOR YEARS TO COME ... IT SPEAKS FOR IT SELF..

By Joanne S. Moore
I am ordering more; my red-factor canary has just had his first molt & ate this throughout in addition to his seed. He came through in great shape; his coloring is beautiful! He goes to his egg supplement as soon as I put it in. I give it to him dry, next to the seed, making sure there's always fresh water. Great stuff!!

By Helen of Trout
Before buying this stuff I tried to find somewhere that would tell me how long it would take before seeing color results in my canaries. I couldn't find anything, so I decided to try it and then post my findings. I'm very happy to say that only after 1 week of feeding my canaries this food I started to see orange coming through on their wings and neck and behind feathers. Granted, all my canaries were born this spring and are still getting their feathers in (it is September now), but after 3 weeks of this feed they are all turning quite orange in specific places (probably where they are still getting new feathers). I would recommend feeding this to your canaries during the molt if they are older, or right when they are born for maximum results. Granted, this food does not give the canaries a deep red like the Roxanthin does, it'll give more of a deep orange.
Great stuff! I just put a little in a small dish next to their normal diet or veggies and seed, and they pick at this eggs stuff as a supplement to their diet. I was nervous at first that they wouldn't eat it cause it smelled awful, but they like it and they are pretty picky eaters!
