I have purchased Higgins Nederlands Vita Parrot many times. It looks very clean and smells very fresh. Birds seem to like it very much and don't leave anything in their bowls. The fruits are always tender unlike some other brands which offer fruits which seem old and very hard and dry. This food does not contain a lot of peanuts either and that is a good thing.

This feed is an actual Parrot Feed for large hook bills. My Orange wing Amazon finally has a food that he not only likes, but he eats nearly all of it unlike most feeds which he digs through and eats a small portion throwing the rest on the floor around the cage. He even seems to be in better spirits, much less vocal and wants to play more, get his head rubbed more and just generally better mood. Will definitely be buying more of this for him when this bag gets low. Recommended for any large, hook bill bird, mine stands about a foot tall and weighs in at 1.5 to 2 pounds.

Wow. So I just made this purchase and I received the huge bag of food within days. The food is fresh and full of big seeds and peanuts which is what my blue and gold macaw loves. Will be purchasing frequently since the price is great!
