Oh my gosh - if you want to see a huge variety of birds, this is the stuff! We live in central Missouri, and these Peanut Nuggets draw all kinds of birds to our feeders ranging from every kind of woodpecker living in our state to nuthatches, chickadees, titmice, and more. Heck, even the cardinals are in on the action. We put these nuggets into the special tubular nugget feeder that C&S makes for especially for these. The feeder was inexpensive, yet good quality, and these nuggets are great in there, as there's really no waste. I also really like the packaging - an easy to open and re-close zip top bag. The nuggets easily pour into the feeder without spillage. Our wild birds are happy birds!

I have fed the birds pellets for years and recently Lowe's and Home Depot stopped selling them and none of the pet superstores or local shops carried them, was happy to find them online at Amazon. They are more expensive this way, but the birds like them and I have two feeders.

I really like these "suet peanut balls", as I call them. The birds love them too!. I have to tell you though, if you have squirrels, you will certainly want to invest in the "Squirrel Buster" feeder (see link below). I used to use a "regular" metal cylinder feeder (like shown on the bag of this item) for the "suet peanut balls", but somehow or the other, the squirrels could still get them out of the feeder! It used to drive me crazy! I have another Squirrel Buster seed feeder that I really love, and when I saw that they had a new "suet peanut ball" feeder, I just had to try it. . .and. . . it works! I live in downtown Atlanta, and woodpeckers, catbirds, finches and other assorted birds all love these "suet peanut balls". . . and don't worry. . . they don't melt either.
