This Organic Maintenance formula is for small to medium birds. It is to be used after completing a dietary program of Harrison's High Potency Formula for a period of at least six months. This is a year-round maintenance formula that meets the nutritional requirements for healthy, non-breeding birds including Lories, Cockatiels, Lovebirds, Quakers, Doves, Pigeons, and other small to medium birds. Feeding instructions: 1. Feed fresh food daily 2. Birds may eat all they want, but the average daily amount to feed ranges from 1/2 tsp for Cockatiels and Lovebirds up to 2 tsp for Doves and Pigeons. I SWEAR by Harrison's Bird foods. They are the BEST. You will see your birds feather quality and coloring drastically improve, and Harrison's builds up the birds immune system really well. Harrison's is also exceptional for baby birds. Harrison's has all different brands of bird foods from healthy birds, to sick birds, infants, juvenile birds. Highly recommend this product. It is a bit more expensive, but well worth the money if you value the well-being and good health of your birdie.

I tried for the longest time at my avian vets constant nagging to get my bird on to Harrison's course pellets, but my galah cockatoo would have nothing of it. I wanted to try these after the first bag went to waste as my galah ignored them(I tried crushing them, soaking them in water & organic juice) but my vet told me they are more processed and I should only use the course sized. I soon gave up and decided to feed Rosie totally organic pellets instead and forget about Harrison's. On a whim a few months ago I grabbed a 1 pound bag of the fine sized and Rosie LOVED it! I then later went back and bought the larger sized bag of high potency which is now almost gone. I'm very happy with this food.
Rosie now gets 50% 50/50 Harrison's mixed with totally organic pellets, and the other 50% of her diet is healthy fresh and prepared foods.

My parakeet had a stroke, and I though she was a goner. She recovered with one paralized leg. She was puffed up and not moving much. I read about Harrison's on a site that discussed rebuilding health. I ordered it and within 2 days of snacking on it, Sancho began to climb her ladder and get around the cage. Her leg began to work except for the toes, but she "walked" on her ankle and did her own therapy by moving, climbing and hopping from branch to branch.
