My cockatoo goes through pickiness several times a year, but never has a problem with Zupreem Natural.. So I thought I'd mix it up a bit with the ZuPreem nut.. all he'd eat was the large dark ones even though several shapes were natural colored, go figure. So I tried the Veggie. He seems to be less picky with these. He doesn't care for the carrot color/shaped ones(kind of dull looking) but all the others he seems to enjoy. It's always a trial and error system with bird food.. Luckily this one worked out!
Don't forget to put all your bird food(especially seed) in the freezer for minimum of 24hrs to kill any moth larvae, Fruit ZuPreem is really bad for it.

My fussy cockatoo loves this new food. We tried the nut flavored during the trials but this is her favorite.

By The World Needs More Birds
I have an Amazon, a pair of blue headed pionus and a pionus baby who tried this. They all hate the veggie mix so much they actively throw it out of the cage like a little kid tossing something off their plate. It's really funny trying to offer one as a treat because they spit them right back at me. They're not crazy about the peanut mix either, but will eat some of the peanut mix along with their Roudybush and fruit pellets.
